Located next to Exit 26 off the Ronda del Litoral (B-10), the La Catalana section of Sant Adrià de Besòs will be a future diversified neighborhood, encompassing both residential and economic activity, made up of a total of 156.00 m2.

131.000 m2 will be assigned a residential use with a maximum of 1.380 housing units. Of these, 527 housing units (50.000 m2) will be assigned as public housing units and 853 (81.000 m2) will be market price units. The average area of the housing units will be of almost 95m2. The entire housing area will be surrounded by an extensive urban park and, along with the interior gardens within each housing block, will make up the neighborhood's green zone. They will also serve to create a continuity to the pedestrian walks and bicycle paths already existing on the other side of the Besòs river. The community facilities will reach an area of 17.520 m2.

The A-19 and the B-10 highways define the Western and Southern limits of the neighborhood, although La Catalana is intersected by Cristòfol de Moura Street which has a direct connection to the central areas of Sant Adrià and the urban network of Barcelona and where a Trambesòs stop has been located. The Sant Adrià Renfe station and various Tugsal and TMB bus lines are also accessible from the same neighborhood. Additionally, with the new ordinance the neighborhood will gain 2.035 parking spaces combining the garages of new buildings and street parking spaces.

Regarding the economic activity, 25.000 m2 will be assigned to tertiary economic activity. La Catalana will house a 7.200 m2 hotel, two thousand of which can be assigned to complementary commercial uses. This hotel will house three floors of underground parking, a lineal block of eight stories and a tower fourteen stories high, framing the access to the Cristòfol de Moura bridge and the downtown area of Sant Adrià. Additionally, 10,600 m2 have been assigned with three stories of underground parking and three stories for commercial uses with considerable public access and eight stories of restricted public access uses (residential, office, health buildings, etc.) Also some of the ground floor spaces of the residential buildings will house commercial uses adding up to 7.200 m2.
