Line 9 of the metro.

Metro L9 This line will be an essential factor in the development of the cities of Badalona and Santa Coloma de Gramenet in the sub-county of the Barcelonès Nord, and will meet the public transport needs of areas with a high population density and insufficient services, such as some neighbourhoods of these cities which have until now had a poor public transport connectivity with Barcelona. The Barcelonès Nord section of Line 9 is expected to come into operation in 2008, though the whole line will not be operative until 2012.
