The former factory of the Companyia Auxiliar de Comerç i Indústria (CACI), was built in 1899 by Jaume Botey and it’s one of the last remaining vestiges of Modernism in Badalona, is to be converted into a Comic and Illustration Catalonia Museum.

This project aims to preserve and disseminate Catalan authors and publications. In addition, it also provides for the acquisition of great treasures of the comic world and aspires to become a research center about this gender.

The new centre is extremely well located, less than 700 meters from the railway station, 200 from the harbour, 400 from Gorg underground station, and close to the motorway.
